Established in 1973DURA Constructors, LLC (DURA) is a privately owned small business that specializes in steel, pre-engineered metal building components, concrete, masonry, and concrete tilt-up construction. We were established by Tom Enamoto and Robert McFarlane on June 8, 1973. DURA Constructors, LLC is a small, family owned and operated company with three generations in house. We are extremely lucky to serve our home and it's communities.

Our GoalDURA has nearly fifty years of experience in the field. Dura is proud to be an exclusive distributor of Butler Buildings where we focus on providing high-quality commercial and industrial metal building systems to the state of Hawaii. Meeting our customer’s needs is the perpetual objective for Dura. We are here to go above and beyond to meet our customer’s needs and expectations delivering on-time and on-budget quality materials and work.

Employee SpotlightNick Pavia (Controller) & Stan Kono (Estimator
At just 21 years old while attending University of Hawaii, Nick started at Dura as an accounting clerk. Today, over 45 years later, he is our Controller managing accounts for all of Dura's projects and subsidiaries. A few years after Nick was brought on, Stan joined the team as our Estimator. From Down Town Honolulu, to Campbell Industrial Park, to the Ala Moana, and finally to our current home, North King, Nick and Stan have kept with us through all of the trials, tribulations, transitions, and celebrations. Their loyalty and dedication to the company is unmatched and we are so grateful to continue to have them in our Dura Ohana.
